Following Em's not-so-subtle suggestion, I took an internet quiz today. It was mildly interesting. Apparently I'd have been a great husband 80 years ago...
...but I'd be an alarmingly poor wife. Not docile enough, I guess. And I clearly don't put enough time into maintaining my appearance.
In other news, I am still in Arizona, still liking my job, definitely liking my coworkers, and even liking the desert summer so far. Granted, this is high desert, so the temperature drops 30 or 40 degrees at night... I made a field trip with several people from my team this weekend -- we went to LA to help out with part of Ilchi Lee's lecture tour. Much of my work time is spent on Ilchi.com, and we are in the midst of a campaign to increase subscriptions to an inspirational newsletter I send out every week. (It's a good one, I promise! Follow this link to see some message examples, or use the subscription box on the main page...) There were two lecture events over the weekend, and lots of people subscribed to the newsletter, but there was also some time to play. I even had dinner with Kal-El and a few of his friends, and saw Alana not just once but twice! And I managed to scandalize both my bosses by wildly plunging into the ocean in my underwear (I didn't have a bathing suit with me, but was not about to let that stop me from SWIMMING!!! in the OCEAN!!!) I spent a lot of time in Koreatown (LA has the most Koreans outside of Korea), learned that "escalator" in Korean is the same word, just spelled with hangul characters instead of roman characters, and had crazy driving adventures. All in all, a satisfying experience.
